Sports Physicals

If your child is involved in a sport your school, league or athletic department may require a sports physical prior to participation.  Even if they don't require a sports physical it is still a recommended and preventative safety measure.

During a sports physical the physician is looking for medical conditions that would predispose your child to injury while practicing or playing in the sport.
